A acrid cold thick fog with an aire of death moves slowly in destroying the beauty of a lustrous summer eve over the lands of Mists of Dawn, the songs of animals suddenly cease, the wind halts and a thunderous silence envelops the land. Towns people feel the chill in the air and down their spines as they feel a unreal silence that harks back to memories. The clouds have settled over Mists of Dawn, and something evil rises again. The only noise that breaks the silence is the scuffling of the people of the shire as they scramble around, lock doors and close and bar windows. A curious man standing outside the sanctuary braves the distressing moment as the fog nears the town and hears a horse scream out and the next moment silenced.

**Days pass, you're in a tavern hearing of news of one of your distant neighboring shires**
"I've heard news from town hall, that something stirs in the west. Something has brought unatural silence to its lands, some of its townspeople have said "It's returned!""

"I wouldn't want to go there, they have their own warriors, and we have our own problems here dealing with outposts from other kingdoms sacking our village!" Someone behind you exclaims, as you sit at your table, drinking a glass of brew, weary from your last mission.

**Suddenly a town herald bursts in through the tavern and shouts something incoherent and barely in breath, slowly a man appears in the doorway behind the herald. He puts his hand on his shoulder and steps forward, a scruffy man proudly dressed in the colors of his land.**

"Our numbers are few, Our soldiers are falling, our shire gathered our strongest warriors to venture in, but only a handful came back out, but it isn't enough, I have traveled far to humbly ask for aid" Says the scruffy traveler.

The people of the land have called for any hero brave enough near or far. Something moves amongst the fog...and the land needs courageous hero's to venture into it and banish it!

Site has places to set tents all along the tree line and near the lodge and behind. You can jump in the river if you bring your swim gear and towels. On site porto-privies! Bonfires both Friday night and Saturday night! Gather around and share stories, sing stories and share some brew. YES!!! Liqour is allowed on site, be responsible please! I can't remember if there are liquor stores near the site so stop at a place before hand!

Take Highway 169 south
Turn Left (south) onto Hawley St. (County Rd 69)
Turn Left (south) onto Hemlock Rd (County Rd 33)
Turn Left (south) onto Hawkeye Ln (Township Rd 198)([i]2nd left after
you cross County Rd 90, look for the sign with the large green
shamrock[/i])
Drive till you run out of road.

If trying to use Mapquest or Yahoo maps, you might need to use
Township Rd 198 instead of Mr. McGowan's address to get it to work.
