Introduction to Classes and Credits

This is a basic rundown of different classes available. For a detailed description of each class, refer to the rulebook. Each class has its own special abilities. All magic classes can use weapons, but it does take away from their magical abilities. Armor is amount of armor that can be worn, not amount they automatically have. Garb is the garb specific to that class, medieval garb is also required.

Undecided: your first 12 credits can (and should) be undecided. This gives you time to try out different classes without having to commit to one. This is not actually a played class, but a credit type.

Peasant: for someone that has no garb, armor: none, weapons: dagger & short sword

Archer: garb: orange sash, armor: 3 points weapons: swords and bows

Levels: besides Raiders, Undecided and Peasant, you are able to level up in each class. All classes go up to level 6 and you gain new abilities at each level. Every 13th credit lets you go to the next level, upon passing a level test. You earn credit for participating in Amtgard. You get one credit per day of participation.
