I've been doing this for awhile now. I haven't been doing Amtgard forever, but I've been doing it long enough, and I study things enough to know what is probably going to happen this year for Crimson Circle.

First of all, a few obvious ones:

1. The Casbah Feast will get us working more closely with Mists of the Dawn. We haven't done a lot with the MN groups, but I could see us arranging a couple visits both ways, since it's a reasonable drive. I sense at least one quest and at least two more feasts this year involving them.
2. We will see a lot more of certain members of the Frost Lands, and a lot less of others that we've seen in the past. This is a trend that will probably continue until Fall.
3. The Great Northern Battle will have about 100 people, but not significantly more than that. The breakdown will be about 30-40 from CC, about 30-40 from FL, and about 25 visitors from out of the area. A side with members from Crimson Circle will win.
4. Admission to Rising Winds in June
5. There will be two or three "goblin raids" this year.

A little less obvious:

1. Our local weekly attendance will be over 40 by June and over 50 by August. By September, we will peak with an attendance of 60 at one or more of our meetings. This population will stabilize to about 40-45 every week over the winter months next year.
2. There will be a push to become a Barony by fall. We will petition for this with Rising Winds, and we will be elevated to barony level. We will stay at barony level until next year.
3. Because of our population growth, kingdom discussions will continue. Because our population won't be stabilized above 40, nothing will come of it. There will be discussions about pretending that our population and that of the Frost Lands are really one park so we can get around the pesky "75 in one park" rule.
4. No kingdom will be formed in WI this year. By November, though, groundwork will be finally laid to get the parks in the region working on events together. This will open the door to becoming a principality in 2009.

These are just best guesses, nothing more. We'll see by the end of the year which ones I'm right about and which ones I get wrong!
