There are many roles or positions that need to be filled in order to make this event as Great as it can be. If you can fill one of the following roles, please respond on this forum. Each position is marked with the number of people required. Positions marked with an * mean that you may still play in the Great Northern Battle. If you have any questions about a position, please ask.

GNB HQ (1+)* Work Sign-in and help organize.
Head Reeve (1)
Back-up Reeves (1+)
General Reeves (2) Each reeves for one of the two generals only.
First Responder/Medic (1+)*
Hydration Commanders (2+)* Keep people hydrated.
Class Organizers (1 per class)* Organize and divide a particular class.
Photographers (1+)*
Head Cook/BBQ Organizer (1)
Cooks/Helpers (as many as possible)*

I didn't want to discuss it Sunday since it was a waste of time for 99 percent of the people. But we probably should have someone in charge of organizing Parking. I think with as many people as will be coming we'll want to have it more organized the first come first serve. Keeping room near the 'main area' for those who are bringing bulky items (like grills) and the like would be a good idea.

Heck, I wouldn't over look the possibility of using Parked Cars as terrain, but this is probably the reason you won't want me being the one in charge of Parking :)

I'ld be willing to cook for hte feast if i have a crew of at least 1-2 people. With this many people i'll need gophers to get the stuff i need when i need it. I can double for a warrior class organizer, and medic. I'll be up to cc sometime before the GNB to talk with those that can help.

I was thinkin each class organizer should bring an indicator for the class. This could be a polearm with the class sash hanging from it. This makes it easy for those who dont know everyone.

I'll (Boboko) be happy to Organize any Class you wish me to organize. If you want me to take care of 'Monsters' I can do that as well since I'm not planning to play one. As I stated before though, I would push for monsters to need 1 week prior approval and have 'nice' Garb for their race, not just the minimum amount.

That is wonderful that Siren would be willing to Reeve. Would she want to be one of the General Reeves (they just watch the general on one side)?

I don't foresee a great deal of monsters, but you can organize them. Usually the monsters that are equal in ratio are weaker than most of the regular fighting classes. Also, I would like to be strict on folks playing monsters so as not to encourage it unless they are really going to put in the effort.

I agree whole heartedly about the Monsters being used by only people who really are willing to put forth the extra effort. I think closer to the date (probably after the 1st of April) I'll get a new thread going for people who are interested in playing Monsters. I'll put some thought into it and send Jyotis my ideas via pm. No reason to clutter the boards at this point.

You can be a Class Organizer for Archers. Each Class organizer is going to make sure the people playing that class has their equipment, knows the rules, and the Class Organizer divides the class so that half are on each team.

Head Reeve - As the organizers I think it would be best that you guys provide that one. I have no problems with it either.

Back-Up Reeves - Dart and Chpek make two, Siren and Morgana are also Reeve qualified. I will talk to them.

First Responder/Medic - I volunteer. We also have a number of qualified people to back me up. Including Bangor, Morgana, Papa, Wolf Dagaz, Pup, Julian, and others. I would just like a list of those from CC who are qualified/interested in helping out.

Hydration Commanders - I would suggest Shal and I both be in charge of this.

Class Organizers - Guildmaster of each class would be good choices.

Head Cook/BBQ Organizer - I know Fereck loves doing this stuff so I will ask him. Will you guys be bringing down grills? I will be asking Eisen to bring his but if we get a hundred or more people his isnt going to be enough.

Cooks/Helpers - volunteer away.

Photographers - the Frostlands is going to be in tomorrows, thusdays, Newspaper. We already have some good contacts in the media. I will try to contact them again and set something up.

Fereck will not be in

Fereck will not be in attendence at this event he will be slaying a giant mouse with his children and family in florida. I ordered the porta john for that weekend. If you need any other help getting this thing rolling please let me know.

I would be willing to help plan the meal and get people setup with what they will need to do during the prep time and feast. I should be able to estimate cook times pretty accurately.

Fyi the porta johns are being billed to me personally at around $80 so i'm not sure who will be footing the bill but I would like to have that hammered out before i go on vacation.
