Last weekend an Amtgard player, Ninetails, happened to be in town and came out to our park. It occurred to me how amtgard is so much like a family.

Within minutes he was just part of the group, and that probably comes as no suprise to any of us. I would do the same thing if I was in another town, I would find the local Amtgard group. Actuallt in some ways, its more like family than my family. Lets say you were on a business trip and had the weekend free. Would you go look up some cousins you learned were in town, or would you look up the amtgard group? I know mine would be an easy choice to amtgard.

I think thats something thats really cool about this club. We are big enough to be all over, and small enough to be close knit.
