there are a few of us wondering if there is going to be a fire that we can cook with and warm up, also is there electrical hook ups? for cooking.

I guess I didn't realize meals are a free-for-all. I am spoiled by Rune Quest where everything is provided. Once I know what meals I will be there for, I'll let you know.

As an event newbie (except RQ of course) what should I make sure I bring or don't bring or anything else I should know before I go?
A good sleeping bag or lots
A good sleeping bag or lots of blankets - it can get freaking cold at night. Extra socks, just in case, cause wet feet all day sucks. Other than that, pretty normal. Garb, class sash/sashes, weapons/spellballs, don't forget you'll have to make a spellsheet. Pretty much what you would need for a day at the park. And water - lots of water. It's not really that much different from RQ, except you don't know everyone, and people are much more spread out (and a lot more people, since it's pulling from a lot of parks). If I think of anything else I'll let you know, but I think that's pretty much it...

Like Ristil says. If you have a sleeping mattress bring it. Also someone might want to bring repair stuff for weaponry (extra noodle, tape and covers).
One of the biggest things to remember is remember we are fighting in a castle. So if you have armor it is a HUGE benefit. If u dont have any and ur class can use it borrow some. Trust me.
plus print off your passports from ORK and BRING THEM!!! It is VERY important, trust me. Normally it isnt required but if you want to get the fullest out of the quests u will need a current passport.

Ok the final break down of
Ok the final break down of the cost is:
5 dollars for the Feast (Steaks, Foil potatos, bread and cheese)
1 dollar for each of the other meals (Friday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch). Sunday is leftovers and first come first served, so is free.
If your interested please let me know asap so I know how much food I need to buy. Please bring the money to the GNB.

Ok, I will be there all satuday, so would like to buy in on saturdays meals. Depending on how fast Shalashaska drives, I will probably get there too late friday to enjoy that one :) Thanks a lot for making my planning easier :)
